Volearn needs no account and does not track you. Your learning progress stays on your phone.
Volearn asks for no account, shows no ads, runs no analytics or tracking tools and sells no personal data. The app itself collects no personal data. Below is where each piece of data lives while the app runs, and what reaches Apple or the content server, and when.
Your total score, the rounds you have played, the review schedule of the phrases you have met, your chosen language, level and reminder preferences, and the name, motto and photo you put on your profile are stored in the app’s space on your device. None of it is sent to Volearn; Volearn has no server and no user database.
The starter scenes ship with the app. New videos, catalogue updates and the lesson file for your language are downloaded from Volearn’s content server (Bunny CDN). As with any request on the internet, the server keeps the requesting IP address and the file requested in its access logs for a short time; these logs are not linked to you and are not used to build a profile.
If you choose to join the league, your weekly league points are sent to Apple with your Game Center account; your Game Center nickname, avatar and points may be visible to other players in the ranking. Your line-by-line learning history is never sent. Leaving the league stops new submissions; points already shared can be removed through Game Center settings. Game Center and privacy.
If you choose to buy Plus, payment and subscription are handled by the Apple App Store; Volearn never sees your card details. The app only checks the purchase status verified by Apple to unlock paid features. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings; when it ends, your learning record and downloaded videos stay. App Store and privacy.
Practice reminders are scheduled locally on your device; there is no server and no push-notification infrastructure. Notification permission is requested only if you turn reminders on, and can be withdrawn in iPhone settings at any time.
When you share a scene, only that scene’s link on this site is shared — not your progress, your name or your device details.
Volearn is rated 4+, needs no account, contains no ads or tracking, and has no chat or user-generated content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Because your data lives only on your device, seeing, moving and deleting it is in your hands: deleting the app deletes the local learning record; iCloud backup and device transfer follow your device’s own settings. For points sent to Game Center, Apple’s tools apply. Questions: support@volearn.app.
